Fire at Gas Cylinder Depot in Buenos Aires Suburb

A major fire broke out at a gas cylinder depot in the Buenos Aires suburb of Mariano Acosta, prompting a large-scale firefighting operation. Residents were forced to self-evacuate due to explosions heard in the area. According to the Argentine News Agency, the fire originated at a depot on Constituyentes Street, between Bustillo and Colombres. Six firefighting crews are currently at the scene, but the operation is complicated by cylinders exploding and flying up to 200 meters away, creating a latent risk. Reports indicate that at least three employees were injured and taken to the hospital. A neighbor recounted: "Explosions can be heard 15 blocks from the depot." Nearby residents also report that "it's impossible to breathe" and they are afraid to leave their homes.
